How to Submit

Step 1: Prepare Your Manuscript

  • Ensure your manuscript aligns with JEBS’s Aims and Scope.
  • Format the manuscript according to JEBS Author Guidelines
  • Follow formatting instructions for font, spacing, and referencing style.

Step 2: Create an Account on the Submission Platform

  • Login to JEBS’s submission site.
  • Register for an account or log in using existing credentials.
  • Ensure contact details and affiliations are up-to-date.

Step 3: Upload Your Manuscript

  • Submit your manuscript through JEBS’s system.
  • Do not send submissions by email, third-party agents, or journal representatives.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to upload your manuscript and any additional files.
  • Confirm that your submission is complete and anonymised file has been uploaded.

Step 4: Complete Metadata and Declarations

  • Enter manuscript details (title, abstract, keywords).
  • Specify corresponding author and confirm all author details.
  • Declare compliance with JEBS ethical guidelines.

Step 5: Review and Submit

  • Double-check that your submission is complete and formatted correctly.
  • Submit the manuscript.
  • An automatic confirmation email will be sent to the corresponding author.

Step 6: Await Editorial Review

  • The JEBS editorial team will screen the manuscript for fit and quality.
  • Suitable manuscripts will proceed to double-blind peer review.
